Complete Sizing Guide

We’ll help you measure two things that matter most:

  • Foot length (heel to toe)
  • Ball girth (the 3D wrap around the widest part of your foot)

No measuring tape? No problem. All you need is:

  • A sheet of paper
  • A ruler
  • Your usual socks

Step 1: Measure Foot Length

  1. Put on your socks.
  2. Stand on paper with your heel against a wall.
  3. Mark the tip of your longest toe and your heel.
  4. Measure the distance in centimeters (cm).

Step 2: Measure Ball Girth

  1. Cut a strip of paper along the long edge of an Letter sized sheet.
  2. Wrap it snugly (not tightly) around the widest part of your foot — just behind the toes.
  3. Mark where the paper overlaps and measure the length in centimeters (cm).

Step 3: Find Your Size

  1. Compare your foot length and ball girth with our size chart.
  2. Your girth should fall within ±3 mm of the listed range for a good fit.

Find Your Best Fit

1. Start with foot length

Find the size where your foot length (cm) fits best.

2. Check ball girth

Your girth should fall within ±0.3 cm of the range listed for that size.

A good fit means both measurements fall within or close to the same size range — that’s when the shoes will feel just right.

When Girth Doesn't Match Exactly

Why Girth Matters?

Feet aren’t flat — ball girth helps capture your foot’s shape and volume. It’s especially useful if you have bunions, high arches, or a wide forefoot.

Prioritise ball girth if you want more toe space or have high arches or bunions — it can really improve the fit.

Outside the Range:

Slightly Over?

If you're just a little over, the stretch-waterproof knit will still make it work.

More than 0.4 cm over?

The fit will likely feel snug. We recommend sizing up or trying the Men’s version (wider toe box).

Below the Range?

If your girth is under the range and your feet are on the narrow side, consider sizing down for a more secure fit.

Best Fit?

Both your length and girth should align with the same size for the best comfort. THEESE fit true to size (full sizes only) and are made with a structured, waterproof knit that gently stretches and moulds to your foot.

Sizing Smarter: What to Know Before You Order

Measure Properly

  • Always measure with socks on — like how you'd wear the shoes.
  • Measure both feet and go with the larger one.

Between Sizes?

  • Size up if you have standard-to-wide feet, or prefer extra room.
  • Size down if you have narrow feet.

Width & Girth Guidance

  • Our shoes are designed to fit up to a standard Men’s D width.

If you wear an E width or wider, the fit may feel too snug — and since comfort is key, it might not be the best match.

Women’s vs Men’s Fit

  • Men's sizes are about 2 mm wider than Women's of the same length (e.g. W9 / M8).
  • Need a better fit? Consider cross-gender sizing: W9 → Try M8, M9 → Try W10.

Sizing FAQs

Do THEESE fit true to size?

Yes! THEESE fit true to size and are available in full sizes only. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for standard or wide feet, and down if your feet are narrow.

What if my left and right foot are different sizes?

This is common! Measure both feet and go with the larger measurement for the best fit.

How do I measure ball girth? Why does it matter?

Ball girth measures the 3D volume around the widest part of your foot (just behind the toes). It helps us recommend the best size for comfort — especially if you have high arches, bunions, or a fuller forefoot. Follow our step-by-step guide above to measure it accurately.

I have wide feet — will THEESE work for me?

THEESE are designed to fit comfortably up to a D width (standard Men's width).

Women’s E width is roughly equivalent to Men’s D — so you may want to try the Men’s version of the same size for a better fit.

  • Men’s E (or Women's 2E) and above, the shoes may feel snug and might not offer the comfort you’re looking for.

What’s the difference between Men’s and Women’s sizing?

Some Men’s and Women’s sizes share the same length but differ slightly in width — Men’s sizes are about 2 mm wider.

If you have narrow or wide feet, you may want to cross over:

  • Women with wide feet (e.g. W9) → Try M8
  • Men with narrow feet (e.g. M9) → Try W10
